Game Introduction
This app, Caro-Gomoku-Renju-FiveinarowgamewithstrongAI, offers a robust platform for playing several variations of the classic five-in-a-row game against either another player or a powerful AI opponent. Currently supported rule sets include:
- GOMOKU Freestyle: Victory is achieved by creating an unbroken line of five or more stones horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
- CARO (Blocked Rule - Gomoku+): To win, a player must form an unbroken line of five stones; lines blocked on both ends (e.g., XOOOOOX or OXXXXXO) do not count.
- GOMOKU Standard: Similar to Freestyle, but overlines (lines of six or more stones) do not constitute a win.
- RENJU: Addressing the inherent advantage of the first player (Black/X) in Gomoku, Renju incorporates additional rules: Black is prohibited from creating double threes (two separate three-stone lines), double fours (two separate four-stone lines), or overlines (six or more stones in a row).
The app boasts an exceptionally strong AI with adjustable difficulty levels, ranging from easy to extremely challenging. Additional features include zoom functionality, support for two-player mode and AI play, highlighting of the last move and threat lines, and unlimited undo capabilities.
