Samsung has introduced six Mini-LED TV models for 2025, with three of them available for purchase starting today. The Neo QLED QN990F and QN900F are true 8K TVs, featuring incremental improvements such as new anti-glare technology, the One Connect wireless transmitter box, and access to Samsung's Art Store, previously exclusive to the Frame TVs. The new 4K Mini-LED models include the QN90F, QN85F, QN80F, and QN70F. The top-tier model, QN90F, boasts a 165Hz refresh rate, Gen 3 processor, and anti-glare coating, similar to the S95F. The mid-range QN85F will be Samsung's first 100" TV.

The new OLED TVs, including the S95F, S90F, and S85F, feature several incremental upgrades. The flagship S95F model includes a new NQ4 AI Gen 3 processor, a 165Hz refresh rate, an improved anti-glare coating, and an upgraded QD OLED panel that promises up to 2,000 nits of brightness. The S90F also features the Gen 3 processor, a 144Hz refresh rate with VRR, and a QD OLED panel with up to 1,300 nits of brightness for models 55" and larger. The S85F, the "budget" OLED TV, comes with a Gen 2 processor and is the only model currently available.

2025 Samsung The Frame Pro Art TV

Not yet released

The Frame Pro is set to debut this year alongside the standard Frame TV. It features a superior Neo QLED Mini-LED panel for richer and brighter colors, a 144Hz refresh rate, new anti-glare technology, and wireless connectivity through the "One Connect" box. The standard The Frame TV will remain available at a lower cost.

Samsung QN90D (2024) Review by Jaron Schneider

Samsung's 2024 mini LED QN90D refines the interface and adds new features, enhancing its value. Though pricey, its brightness, color quality, multiple HDMI 2.1 ports, and built-in gaming capabilities justify the cost.

AI and Anti-Glare Tech Are the Highlights for Samsung

Samsung is heavily investing in AI for 2025, introducing "Vision AI" that recognizes content specifics like actors or settings and provides real-time personalized commentary. Additional AI enhancements include AI Upscaling Pro and AI Motion Enhancer Pro for optimized image quality, Active Voice Amplifier Pro for voice enhancement, AI Optimization, and AI Energy Mode. Samsung is also expanding the use of a matte-like anti-glare coating across more TV models, which minimizes reflections without desaturating the image.
