Airi in Blue Archive: Build Guide and Usage Tips

Author : Harper May 01,2025

Airi might not be the most dazzling character in *Blue Archive*, but her unique support abilities can truly stand out in the right situations. In this RPG, she's renowned for her capacity to manipulate attack speeds through debuffs and buffs, making her an exceptional choice for scenarios where controlling the tempo of the battle is more crucial than dealing raw damage. Although she's not commonly used in general gameplay, Airi shines in specific late-game raids like ShiroKuro (Insane), where her skills are key in manipulating boss mechanics.

Airi isn’t an essential character for newer players or for general progression. Her EX Skill is costly and situational, and her overall impact can be limited in scenarios where enemies remain in cover or don't move much. However, for seasoned players aiming to fine-tune their endgame raid strategies, Airi becomes a valuable asset when deployed effectively.

What Makes Airi Special

Airi's abilities revolve around controlling speed. Her Sub Skill passively increases the Attack Speed of all allies, while her Basic Skill frequently decreases the Attack Speed of a single enemy. This combination can subtly tilt battles in your favor, particularly in situations where disrupting or delaying enemy attacks is critical.

When building Airi, you don't need to focus on damage stats. Instead, prioritize stats that keep her healthy and active on the battlefield.

Using Airi in Battle

In combat, Airi typically operates passively. Her Sub and Basic Skills activate automatically, requiring minimal player intervention, which makes her a convenient support option to incorporate when needed.

If you decide to utilize her EX Skill, aim to use it when enemies are navigating through chokepoints or clustered together. The slow effect can delay their repositioning or engagement. In the ShiroKuro raid specifically, her skills can be employed to alter boss attack patterns, enhancing your team's damage output during phase 2.

However, beyond this specific scenario, using Airi's EX Skill may not be worth the SP cost—especially considering it requires 5 SP and only offers soft crowd control.

Unlike the game's top-tier characters, Airi isn't one you'll use daily, but she has her niche moments. For late-game challenges like ShiroKuro (Insane), her toolkit provides unique utility that can significantly influence the outcome when timed correctly. Otherwise, she remains a specialized support unit, best reserved for content that aligns with her strengths.

If you choose to deploy Airi, concentrate on maximizing her Sub Skill and integrate her into teams that thrive on speed-based support. For the optimal experience in managing her skill activations and raid strategies, consider playing *Blue Archive* on PC using BlueStacks for smoother gameplay and enhanced performance.
