Black Ops 6 and Other New Games Confirmed to be Revealed at Gamescom 2024

As excitement builds for Gamescom 2024, host and producer Geoff Keighley has announced that "new game announcements" will be a key feature of the Gamescom Opening Night Live (ONL) event. Alongside these exciting reveals, fans can expect updates on beloved titles, making this a must-watch event for gaming enthusiasts.

As Gamescom 2024 approaches, Geoff Keighley took to Twitter (X) to share that the Opening Night Live (ONL) will showcase not only new game announcements but also updates on previously revealed and highly anticipated games. The event is set to kick off the Gamescom festivities and will be livestreamed on August 20 at 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET across official streaming channels.

Gamescom has already hinted at an impressive lineup including CoD: Black Ops 6, MH Wilds, Civ 7, MARVEL Rivals, Dune Awakening, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. However, the show promises to unveil even more titles that have yet to be announced, adding to the anticipation.

Keighley also highlighted that the event will feature the first gameplay reveals of Don’t Nod’s upcoming interactive adventure game, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, and a new trailer for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 from Warhorse Studios. Additionally, THQ Nordic will reveal a new game from Tarsier Studios, the team behind the acclaimed Little Nightmares series.

Fans of Call of Duty have a special treat in store, as the first campaign playthrough of Black Ops 6 will be showcased live during the event, as confirmed by Keighley on Twitter (X). While Nintendo has announced they will not be attending Gamescom this year, The Pokémon Company will still be present, highlighted as a key feature of the event.
