Black Ops 6 Gets New Zombies Map
No Amalgams Here
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is expanding its Zombies mode with the introduction of a brand new map, marking it as the fifth thrilling addition to the game. The excitement began with a sneak peek shared on the official Call of Duty X (formerly Twitter) account and further detailed by Treyarch Studios on their X profile. The post, dated March 12, 2025, showcases a haunting image of a grand mansion, visibly scarred with battle damage, flaming wreckage of an army car, ominous black smoke, and internal fires.
The caption accompanying the image, "Personal log. Edward Richtoften recording… #Zombies," hints at the return of the iconic character Edward "Eddie" Richtoften, who played a significant role in Call of Duty: Cold War. Given that Black Ops 6 is a remake of this title, Eddie's reappearance is a welcome nod to fans.
Keen observers have noted that this new map is set in the Mansion from Liberty Falls, dated February 1991, aligning seamlessly with the storyline continuation from the last Zombies map, The Tomb.

One of the most significant changes to this map is the absence of Amalgam enemies. Treyarch confirmed this on their Instagram account when a fan commented, "Cannot wait to feel the wrath of 20 amalgams on this map too," and the developers replied with a firm "Nope." Amalgams, known for their high HP and powerful attacks, will not be part of this map, promising a smoother gameplay experience for players.
