Activision has officially announced the release date for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and the much-anticipated Season 3 of Warzone, but fans will need to wait a bit longer than initially anticipated. Season 3 is set to launch on April 3, which is later than the expected reset date of March 20 suggested by the current Battle Pass countdown.
The excitement for Season 3 is palpable, as Activision has been hinting at the return of the fan-favorite Verdansk map, expected to make a comeback this spring. Adding to the anticipation, a recent pop-up in the Call of Duty shop announced "The Verdansk Collection" set to be released on March 10, which many believe signals the map's return.
While we await more detailed information about Season 3 next week, likely coinciding with the launch of "The Verdansk Collection" on the 10th, players can continue to enjoy Season 2. This season has already delivered five new multiplayer maps, the return of the beloved Gun Game mode, new weapons and operators, and an exciting crossover event featuring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
