The Sims 4's latest update brings back a classic feature: the Burglar, now known as Robin Banks! This guide explains how to encounter and apprehend this nocturnal thief.
Robin Banks operates under the cover of darkness, attempting to pilfer valuable household items. While her appearances are infrequent, activating the new "Heist Havoc" lot challenge significantly increases her chances of targeting your Sims' homes. This challenge also increases the likelihood of alarms malfunctioning, aiding her escape.
Catching the Burglar:
If your Sims are fortunate enough to awaken before Robin Banks completes her heist, several methods exist to stop her. The simplest is contacting the police – a welcome return to The Sims 4. Alternatively, your Sims can engage in fisticuffs with the thief, with fitter Sims possessing a greater advantage.
Several gameplay expansions offer unique defensive options:
- Dogs: A loyal canine companion will chase Robin Banks away. (Requires: Cats & Dogs Expansion Pack)
- Werewolves: Their intimidating presence can deter her. (Requires: Werewolves Game Pack)
- Spellcasters: A range of spells, from confusion to transformations, are at their disposal. (Requires: Realm of Magic Game Pack)
- Servos: Their defense matrix can incapacitate her. (Requires: Discover University Expansion Pack)
- Scientists: The Freeze Ray offers a quick immobilization. (Requires: Get to Work Expansion Pack)
- Vampires: A quick snack followed by an expulsion order is always an option. (Requires: Vampires Game Pack)
