Understanding CHASERS' Gameplay Mechanics
CHASERS: No Gacha Hack & Slash is a captivating 3D action RPG with intense, fast-paced combat. You control Chasers—a diverse roster of characters unlocked through progression (no gacha!). Combat is familiar to modern ARPGs, but with unique twists. You'll see two bars at the bottom of the screen: HP (health) and Energy. HP depletes in battle; reaching zero results in defeat. The Energy bar fuels your Chaser's abilities, regenerating over time or boosted by Energy drones found while exploring dungeons.
Movement is controlled via a virtual joystick, or use keyboard and mouse for precise control on PC with BlueStacks. A unique mechanic, "Elphis" magic, lets you unleash abilities without consuming energy—a powerful "turbo" mode for devastating combos. A full Elphis bar (glowing blue) indicates readiness. Each Chaser possesses unique active abilities with cooldowns and a powerful ultimate ability that recharges as you deal and receive damage.
Crafting Your Team in CHASERS
Strategic team building is key. Deploy up to three unique Chasers in battles. Manually select your team or let the AI automatically choose your strongest Chasers based on their power level. Conveniently switch between deployed Chasers on the fly (visible on the right-hand side of the screen).
Leveling Up and Beyond
Enhance your Chasers using accumulated gold and experience materials of varying rarities. Leveling increases base stats (Attack, Defense, Health). Once a Chaser reaches its level cap, advance it to further increase the cap.
Improve active and passive abilities using Rusty Bolts and Battle Data of different qualities. This boosts skill damage multipliers and reduces cooldowns.
Breakthroughs enhance abilities and stats, or unlock new ones, using duplicate Chasers (purchasable with premium currency). Each Chaser can undergo up to six breakthroughs.
