Long-awaited by Cyberpunk 2077 fans, the Fortnite crossover finally arrived, much to the excitement of many. However, the absence of the male version of protagonist V sparked disappointment and speculation among some players. Various theories emerged, analyzing CD Projekt Red's marketing strategies. The truth, however, is far simpler.

Patrick Mills, Cyberpunk 2077 loremaster and the decision-maker, explained the reasoning. The bundle was designed for only two characters, one of which had to be Johnny Silverhand. This left no space for both male and female versions of V. With Johnny being male, selecting the female V was a logical choice, further influenced by Mills' personal preference.
