With the Final Fantasy series experiencing a renaissance, particularly through its ongoing remake of the beloved seventh installment, it's no surprise that Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis is gearing up to celebrate its 1.5-year anniversary with flair. Starting March 6th, players can look forward to an array of new content, including fresh gear, challenges, and skills. The latest trailer offers an enticing preview of what's to come.

The trailer teases several exciting additions for dedicated fans. As part of the anniversary campaign, players will receive a free set of gear and a special five-star weapon exclusive to Cloud, the Umbral Blade. Additionally, the new event, "Odin: Vanquisher of Souls," will kick off on March 6th, promising thrilling gameplay.

In celebration of the 1.5 anniversary, stylish new gear for your favorite characters will be introduced. The first to be unveiled is Sephiroth, who will don the striking Cape of the Worthy, part of the Vestments of the Worthy series. This series will be revealed over four weeks leading up to the anniversary event, as showcased in the trailer below.

To aid players in tackling the anniversary challenges, a new battle ability called "Overspeed" will be introduced. This ability will be crucial for the upcoming Odin-themed escalation challenge, ensuring that Final Fantasy's presence on mobile continues to grow and evolve.

It's somewhat ironic that even after numerous new entries in the series, Square Enix consistently returns to the seventh installment. Given its status as a fan favorite, however, this is hardly surprising. While you eagerly await this exciting event, don't forget to explore other great games.
