Fortnite's new "Reload" mode: A nostalgic blast from the past with a modern twist! This fast-paced mode throws 40 players onto a smaller map packed with iconic locations from Fortnite's history, bringing back the classic feel.
What Makes Reload Mode Unique?
In Reload mode, your squad's journey isn't over until every single member is eliminated. A full squad wipe means game over – no second chances. This high-stakes format applies to both Battle Royale and Zero Build.
The action unfolds on a compact island featuring fan-favorite spots like Tilted Towers and Retail Row. While vehicles are absent, the map compensates with a potent arsenal of unvaulted weapons. Get ready to wield old favorites like the Revolver, Tactical Shotgun, Lever Action Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, and Grappler.
Victory Crowns remain a key element. Reboots are possible, but you'll return to the fight with a basic Assault Rifle (and building materials in Build mode). The Reboot Timer adds another layer of intensity, starting at 30 seconds and increasing to 40 as the match progresses. Eliminating enemies reduces this timer.
Elimination and Strategy
Elimination isn't just an end; it's a strategic opportunity. Fallen players drop Small Shield Potions, ammo, and building materials (in Build mode), keeping the battle fierce and resource-driven.
Level Up with Intro Quests
Complete Reload mode's intro quests for substantial XP rewards! Three quests unlock the Digital Dogfight Contrail, six earn the Pool Cubes Wrap, and nine net the NaNa Bath Back Bling. Secure a Victory Royale and claim The Rezzbrella Glider.
