Albion Online's Rogue Frontier Update: Smugglers, New Weapons, and More!
Sandbox Interactive's medieval fantasy MMORPG, Albion Online, is launching its next major update, Rogue Frontier, on February 3rd. This first significant update of the year introduces exciting new features and content.
Life in the Outlands:
Rogue Frontier focuses on the Smugglers, rebellious outlaws challenging the Royal Continent's strict laws. They've established hidden underground bases known as Smuggler's Dens, serving as vital hubs for banking, repairs, and expedition planning. These dens are interconnected through the Smuggler's Network, a sophisticated marketplace system spanning the Outlands.
Players can actively participate in the ongoing conflict between the Smugglers and Royal Guards. Assist the Smugglers by rescuing captured comrades or delivering contraband within Smuggler Crates.
Rewards for Loyalty:
Show your allegiance to the Smugglers and earn rewards from Maggy Slade, a mysterious trader residing in the dens. Obtain the Smuggler's Vanity Set, a Smuggler's Cape (featuring a potion cooldown reduction ability), a Smuggler's Ring, and an exclusive Avatar.
New Additions:
Rogue Frontier introduces Kill Trophies, dropped by defeated players. The richer the defeated player's loot, the higher the chance of obtaining a trophy.
Three stylish new weapons are also included: the Rotcaller Staff (summoning a mist to repel enemies), the Skystrider Bow (allowing levitation and ranged attacks), and the Forcepulse Bracers (delivering shockwaves during dashes).
