Becoming a Hollow in the Hollow Era
Your journey begins as a Soul Spirit, the essence of a departed soul. At this pivotal moment, you face a crucial decision: transform into a Shinigami or embrace the path of the Hollow. Opting for the latter involves breaking all the links on your chain, a process that will naturally occur every two minutes, leading to your inevitable transformation into a Hollow.

Hollow Progression in the Hollow Era
Your first goal is to evolve into a Gillian, which requires grinding by defeating other Hollows and consuming their remains. Reaching level 15 is your ticket to Gillian status, but at level 10, you can access the Hueco Mundo dimension through a Garganta gateway, making your hunt for Hollows more efficient.
Remember, as a Hollow, you're a target for both Shinigami and fellow Hollows, unlike the more peaceful existence of a Soul Reaper. For those interested in the Shinigami path, check out our full Shinigami progression guide.
Gillian Form in the Hollow Era
As a Gillian, your mission continues with eliminating Hollows and engaging with Hollow Pillars in Hueco Mundo. Accumulate enough Progression Points, and you'll be whisked away to your inner world to confront and defeat waves of Hollows. Succeed three times, and you'll ascend to the Adjucha form.

Adjucha Form in the Hollow Era
The Adjucha phase is where things get intriguing. You now have the choice to progress towards becoming a Vasto Lorde or an Arrancar. Let's start with the Arrancar path.

To transform into an Arrancar, seek out a Crystal Bush in Hueco Mundo, which spawns every 30 to 60 minutes. Once you touch it, you'll become an Arrancar, gaining access to Hueco Mundo via a keybind. At level 50, you can pursue your Resurrección, but for now, Arrancars can only utilize Kendo skills, with hopes for more skills to be added in future updates.
Vasto Lorde Progression
Choosing the Vasto Lorde route means more grinding to defeat and consume Hollows for Progression Points. Be cautious, as dying during this process results in a 1% loss of your points. To reach Vasto Lorde, you'll need 800 Progression Points, earned from defeating various Hollow types:
Hollow: 1 PointGillian: 6 PointsAdjucha: 4 PointsVasto Lorde: 8 PointsArrancar: 8 PointsEspada: 10 Points
Vasto Lorde form in the Hollow Era
Achieving Vasto Lorde status is tougher than becoming an Arrancar. You need to collect 800 race Progression Points and gather all Hollow Items, which have random drop chances. Here's a breakdown of the items and their sources:
Hollows: Back Fins (Epic, 5% drop chance, +1 HP regeneration), Fin Tail (Legendary, 1% drop chance, +1 Reiatsu regeneration and +1 Speed)Gillian: Back Spikes (Rare, 10% drop chance, +1 Reiatsu)Adjucha: Tail (Epic, 5% drop chance, +1 Speed), Single Horn (Uncommon, 25% drop chance, +1 Strength), Double Horn (Rare, 10% drop chance, +2 Strength), Triple Horn (Epic, 5%, +3 Strength)Vasto Lorde: Spiral Horn (Epic, 5% drop chance, +1 Reiatsu)
Becoming Espada in the Hollow Era
If you're on the Vasto Lorde path, your next goal is to become an Espada. The process mirrors becoming an Arrancar: head to Hueco Mundo, locate a Crystal Bush, and interact with it to evolve into an Espada.

How to Get Your Resurrección
As an Arrancar or Espada, your ultimate goal is to unlock your Resurrección. First, reach level 50, then head to Hueco Mundo and meet Isen, the King of Hueco Mundo. He'll task you with defeating 50 Arrancars. Upon completion, you can activate your Resurrección when your Rage Bar is fully charged and pulsating. Fill your Rage Bar by dealing or receiving damage. The default keybind for Resurrección is "Y", and it deactivates when you run out of Reiatsu or Rage.

Hollow Era Tips and Tricks
Playing as a Hollow may look and sound cooler, but it's less versatile than the Shinigami path. Brace yourself for extensive grinding and be aware that as a Hollow, you'll be targeted by both Hollows and Shinigami. If combat gets confusing, use the lockup button to focus on your primary enemy. This feature is especially helpful when dealing with game bugs and lag, which can sometimes leave you stuck but unharmed. Learn how to block enemy attacks as soon as possible, as even low-level enemies can deal significant damage, and your health regeneration is slow. Upon death, you'll lose some money, and the trek back to your quest targets can be tedious. Consider investing in bus teleport to save time. When allocating Skill Points, prioritize Strength and Speed initially, regardless of your race, as these are crucial for dealing damage and moving quickly. If you're unsure of your surroundings, press and hold J (default keybind) to use your Reiatsu sense and reveal markers around Karakura.
This concludes our Hollow Era Hollow progression guide. Keep in mind that the game is still in development, so expect some bugs and lag, even on high-performance PCs. Before starting your adventure, make sure to redeem your Hollow Era codes to give yourself a boost from the very beginning, as this game is no easy feat.
