Marvel Rivals has taken the competitive scene by storm with the launch of Competitive Play in Season 0 - Dooms' Rise. Now, any player who reaches level 10 can immerse themselves in skill-based matchmaking and start their journey from the Bronze rank. Similar to Quick Match, Competitive Play allows players to choose from an extensive lineup of over thirty characters, categorized into three roles: Strategist, Duelist, and Vanguard. Each victory in this mode contributes to your points, propelling you through the ranks.
As you climb the competitive ladder during a season, you'll unlock seasonal rewards at specific ranks. These rewards include cosmetic skins for various characters and Crests of Honor, which are emblems you can display on your profile to showcase your highest achievements. In Season 1 - Eternal Night Falls, players have the chance to earn the exclusive Blood Shield skin for the new Strategist character, Invisible Woman, through competitive play. Below, you'll find a detailed guide on how to secure this coveted skin.
How to Get Invisible Woman's Blood Shield Skin For Free in Marvel Rivals
Season 1 - Eternal Night Falls in Marvel Rivals introduced several exciting updates, including enhancements to the Competitive Play feature. A significant addition is the new rank, Celestial, which sits between Grandmaster and Eternity and consists of three tiers, similar to other ranks. Alongside hero adjustments and patch notes, the season also introduced new rewards, such as S2 Crest variants for players reaching Grandmaster and above, and the coveted Blood Shield skin for Invisible Woman.
To obtain the Blood Shield skin for Invisible Woman in Marvel Rivals, players must achieve a rank of Gold III or higher during the competitive season. Importantly, these seasonal rewards are awarded based on your peak rank, not your final standing at the end of the season. So, if you reach Gold III and then drop in rank, you'll still be eligible for the Blood Shield skin for Invisible Woman. However, you won't receive this reward until the current Competitive Season ends and the next one begins. This means you'll have to wait until Marvel Rivals Season 3 starts to see the Blood Shield skin appear in your Invisible Woman cosmetics gallery.
