Monster Hunter Now's Season 5: The Blossoming Blade is almost here! Niantic has unveiled all the exciting details for this upcoming season, launching March 6th, 2025. Prepare for new challenges, weapons, a Season Pass, and thrilling monster encounters.
Pre-Season Sneak Peek:
Even before Season 5 begins, players can encounter the Chatacabra on February 28th, making its debut ahead of its appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. The season's official launch will also introduce Glavenus and Arzuros to the game's roster.
Weapon Enhancements and Balance Tweaks:
Expect significant weapon balance adjustments designed to enhance gameplay and make each weapon type more competitive. The Sword & Shield receives a buff, improving its ability to target weak points like tails. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will now reward precise timing with amplified power and more satisfying combat sequences.
The Guard skill is also receiving a much-needed upgrade. Increased skill levels will now noticeably reduce damage taken while blocking, a significant improvement over previous iterations. Further details on additional balance changes will be revealed in the complete patch notes on March 6th.
More Season 5 Features:
A persistent problem for many players – overflowing inventories – is addressed with the introduction of an Item Box Expansion available as a Supply Item. This provides an additional 250 inventory slots.
Celebrating Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-Year Anniversary on March 17th, a new material trading feature will be implemented. Hunters can exchange special materials earned through hunts and events for valuable rewards, including Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
