Author : Matthew Jan 10,2025

GungHo Entertainment, creators of the crossover card battler Teppen, is venturing into a new realm with their upcoming retro-style RPG: Disney Pixel RPG. This collaboration with Disney promises a pixel art adventure featuring a massive roster of beloved Disney characters.

Set for release later this year, Disney Pixel RPG allows players to recruit and battle with iconic Disney characters across numerous worlds. Gameplay blends battle, action, and rhythm challenges, offering a unique and dynamic experience.

Players can create and customize their own avatar, fighting alongside their favorite Disney heroes. The game incorporates auto-battling mechanics with the option for direct player control at key moments. The storyline centers around combating mysterious programs that have infiltrated the pixelated Disney worlds.

A Retro Revival

This isn't GungHo's first foray into large-scale franchise crossovers. However, given Disney's extensive library of films and properties, this project offers an unprecedented opportunity for character selection. GungHo's experience with managing large casts makes them ideally suited for this ambitious undertaking.

Pre-registration for Disney Pixel RPG is now open on iOS and Android. Visit the game's official website for additional previews, screenshots, and more information.
