Roselia Spotlight Hour Guide

This week's Spotlight Hour is scheduled for January 14th, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. To make the most out of this event, players should stock up on berries, Pokéballs, and incense. The spotlight Pokémon for the week is Roselia, and players can also enjoy an x2 Catch XP bonus, making it a great opportunity to level up quickly.

Roselia, a Grass and Poison-type Pokémon, is numbered #0315 in the Pokédex and hails from the Hoenn region in Generation 3. It boasts a maximum Combat Power of 2114 CP, with 186 Attack and 131 Defense stats. Roselia is part of a three-stage evolution line, starting from Budew to Roselia (requiring 25 Candies), and then evolving into Roserade with 100 Candies and a Sinnoh Stone.

Catching Roselia rewards players with three candies and 100 Stardust. This Pokémon can be traded within Pokémon GO and transferred to Pokémon Home. As a Grass and Poison-type, Roselia is vulnerable to Fire, Flying, Ice, and Psychic-type moves, taking 160% more damage from these attacks. It resists Electric, Fairy, Fighting, and Water-type moves, taking only 63% damage, and Grass-type moves are the most effective at reducing damage, at just 39%.
