Sony Bravia X93L Review by Jaron Schneider:

"The Sony X93L isn’t cheap, but largely earns its price through very good image quality powered by top-tier processing that results in a fantastic gaming experience."

The Sony Bravia XR X93L, released in March 2023, is the second highest-end non-OLED TV in Sony's lineup, just below the X95L, which was exclusively available in an 85" size in the United States. The X93L utilizes Mini LED technology, which significantly enhances HDR content viewing. Mini LED technology features smaller and more numerous LEDs compared to traditional LED-backlit panels, allowing for more precise control of brightness and improving black levels and contrast ratio.

The X93L is also an excellent choice for gamers. It comes equipped with four HDMI ports, two of which support HDMI 2.1 specifications. This enables 4K output at up to 120Hz refresh rate, ideal for current-generation consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. While the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 will be limited to 60fps in 4K when docked, HDMI 2.1 isn't necessary for that system.

Android smartphone users will appreciate the Sony Bravia XR X93L's integration with the Google TV smart interface. This interface is user-friendly and functional, and you can even use your Android device as a remote.
