Uncharted Waters Origin has just released an exciting new update titled "The Lighthouse of the Ruins," featuring a challenging PvE event, a new character, and a host of new events that will run until early November. This update is packed with fresh content that promises to keep players engaged and rewarded.
It’s Going To Be A Monthly Event
In "The Lighthouse of the Ruins," players embark on a journey through various levels or "waters," starting from the depths and ascending to higher levels. As you progress, you'll engage in battles and collect rewards such as Blue Gems and Shipbuilding Accelerations. Successfully clearing certain levels grants you significant rewards, and the event refreshes at the beginning of each month. If you find yourself stuck, you'll have another opportunity to progress after the reset. Post-reset, you can attempt to clear up to half of your previous progress, ensuring you're not starting from scratch each time.
Attempting the Lighthouse of the Ruins requires 10 energy, with 8 energy being refunded if you fail. Note that you cannot use redo items, and rank rewards are distributed only once per month. Therefore, it's crucial to strategize effectively before diving into this challenge.
Introducing William Adams, the new S-grade Admiral, inspired by the historic English navigator who ventured to Japan on the Dutch ship Liefde. Adams must earn the trust of the Shogun to navigate his new path. Joining him are new Mates Naoe Kanetsugu and Togo Grimani, along with Employee Mates Ga Eunjeong and Tatsumaru, adding depth to your crew.
A new Mate Growth system called Transcendence is now available in Uncharted Waters Origin. After maxing out the Premium Training for your Mate, Transcendence unlocks, providing an additional Effect slot. The Tome of Transcendence, essential for this system, can be obtained from the Lighthouse of the Ruins, Arctic Waters Land Training, and through a smuggling ring assistant captain in Cape Town.
The Combat Support Special Attendance Event, running until November 5th, rewards players just for logging in. You can earn 60 Tomes of Transcendence, 40 Highest Combat Appointments, a Birch Board, and equipment like the Marxbrüder Zweihänder & Rüstung.
