Kemco has just released an intriguing new visual novel exclusively for Android users. Named "Together We Live," this game plunges players into a deeply engaging narrative set in a post-apocalyptic world, exploring themes of human sins and the arduous path to atonement. While it's a fresh release on Android, fans of the genre can also find it on Steam for PC.
A Girl Atoning for Humans’ Sins
In "Together We Live," you follow the journey of Kyoya, who awakens in a dimly lit room to find himself in the year 4000—almost 2000 years after his last memory. The Earth has transformed into a desolate wasteland, and the only person Kyoya encounters is a mysterious girl with a profound mission.
This girl is trapped in a relentless cycle of death and rebirth, each iteration serving as her penance for humanity's sins. Her plight is heart-wrenching, and witnessing her struggle compels Kyoya to introduce her to the concept of happiness.
The story's pacing may seem slow at first, but patience is rewarded as the narrative unfolds with compelling twists and turns. Initially minor details gain significant importance, enriching the overall experience.

Together We Live Makes You Think
Unlike many visual novels, "Together We Live" does not involve player choices, offering instead a linear yet captivating story. The game's art style is simple yet charming, perfectly complementing the mix of beauty and sorrow woven into the narrative.
The girl's character is fully voiced, adding a haunting depth to her role. Currently, the game is available in English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese, but it does not support controllers. You can purchase "Together We Live" on the Google Play Store for $9.99, or play it for free if you have a Play Pass.
