Tech enthusiasts continue to explore the potential of screen adaptations using modern technology, and their latest focus is the Witcher series. A concept trailer for a Witcher 3: Wild Hunt adaptation, created by the Sora AI YouTube channel, has recently emerged.
The trailer's aesthetic is reminiscent of 1980s films, a style achieved through the use of neural network technology. Many recognizable characters from the Witcher universe are featured, including Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, Triss Merigold, Regis, Dijkstra, Priscilla, and others. While some minor visual alterations are present, the characters remain easily identifiable.
Recently, the developers of Witcher 3 hinted at plans to incorporate Triss's wedding into the game. Originally conceived as the "Ashen Marriage" quest in Novigrad, the storyline depicts Triss falling for Castello and her desire for a swift marriage. Geralt assists with wedding preparations, tasks including ridding the canals of monsters, procuring alcohol, and selecting a wedding gift.
Interestingly, Triss's reaction is directly influenced by the chosen gift. Less extravagant presents are less well-received, while a memory rose—a familiar item from Witcher 2—elicits a strong emotional response from her.
