Scrap Factory Automation: A First-Person Automated Manufacturing Simulation
Scrap Factory Automation is a 3D, first-person simulation game centered around automated manufacturing. Boasting impressive graphics and mechanics, the game challenges players to build and expand their own automated factories.
Initially, players manually extract basic resources like iron, copper, coal, stone, and wood. However, the core gameplay loop involves progressively automating production through the strategic placement of mines, specialized machinery, and conveyor belts. Construct specialized buildings for crafting, enabling the automated production of increasingly complex items and structures. A smelter streamlines ore processing, while a factory allows for the creation of intricate materials. A power plant, fueled by scrap mechanics, ensures a consistent supply of electricity.
Players design and implement unique conveyor belt systems, creating and expanding production chains throughout their facility. Specialized tools assist in constructing intricate networks of interconnected conveyor belts, with additional buildings facilitating the separation of resource flows on these transport lines.
The game's crafting system is open-ended, limited only by the player's creativity. Discover new crafting recipes, locate all the resources, and gradually build the factory of your dreams, complete with an extensive conveyor belt network. Begin with manual resource extraction, then expand by crafting and deploying mines. Manage resource allocation strategically; for example, if you need to power your production buildings, find a coal deposit and build a mine connected by transport belts. The ultimate goal is to create a completely self-sufficient manufacturing operation – a challenging task that will test your skills.
