AR effects are available on:
- Magic Thousand Character Comic Book Revised Edition (Volume 54+): Book cover, 20 pages of the book, and the front of 20 character cards.
- Magic Thousand Character Comic Book Revised Edition (Volume 1-53): Book cover, 20 pages (look for the red AR mark), and the front of 20 character cards.
- Magic Thousand Character Comic Book Old Edition (Volume 1-44): Book cover and 20 pages of text (no AR mark).
- Magic Thousand Character Text for Children Chinese Characters Revised Edition (Volume 1-10): 212 enclosed cards.
Troubleshooting:
- Image Recognition Issues: If the app doesn't recognize an image, try tapping the yellow "+" button to re-scan. Ensure good lighting and proper image alignment. Not all pages are AR-enabled; check the compatible pages list.
- App Crashes/Slow Performance: Intensive AR use may cause overheating. Close and restart the app if needed. Older smartphones may experience slower performance.
- Chinese Character Entry: Enable the "Skip from the second Chinese character writing" option in settings to avoid repeated entry (except for pages with multiple characters).
- Animation/Video Issues: Slow internet speeds can interrupt animations and videos. Use a stable Wi-Fi connection.
- Audio/Video Recording Issues: Adjust your speaker volume when recording videos. Video recordings are limited to 30 seconds and may stop automatically when changing AR models.
- Gallery Access: Photos and videos may not immediately appear in your gallery; restart your device if needed.
- Permissions: The app requires camera, microphone, and storage permissions to function correctly.
