This app offers three two-player card games: Four Cards Golf, Six Cards Golf, and Scat, selectable via the Settings menu.
Four Cards Golf Rules:
The objective is to achieve the lowest score possible across nine rounds. Each round begins with each player receiving four face-down cards. Remaining cards form a draw pile, with one card flipped face-up into a discard pile.
Players initially get one glimpse at their two nearest cards. These must remain hidden. Cards can only be viewed when discarding or scoring.
On a turn, a player may draw from the draw pile, replacing any card in their layout (without viewing the replaced card). The replaced card goes face-up into the discard pile. Players can also draw and immediately discard from the discard pile without replacing a card.
Players can “knock” to end their turn. Following a knock, others can draw or discard but not knock. The round concludes after this.
Scoring:
- Pairs in a row or column: 0 points
- Jokers: -2 points
- Kings: 0 points
- Queens and Jacks: 10 points
- Other cards: Face value
- Four of a kind: -6 points
Six Cards Golf Rules:
This two-player game also aims for the lowest score over nine rounds. Each round starts with six face-down cards per player, a draw pile, and a face-up discard pile.
Players initially reveal two cards. They then reduce their score by swapping cards for lower-value ones or creating pairs in columns.
Turns involve drawing from either pile. The drawn card can replace one of the player's cards (turning the replaced card face-up) or be discarded. Discards end the player's turn. A round ends when all cards are face-up.
Scoring:
- Pairs in a column: 0 points
- Jokers: -2 points
- Kings: 0 points
- Queens and Jacks: 20 points
- Other cards: Face value
The app allows play against AI or a friend on the same device.
