Kachuful (Judgment) is now available for online multiplayer family and friend fun! Originating in India, Kachuful is a trick-taking card game, a variation of Oh Hell, also known as Judgment or Forecasting in some regions. The game offers several variations. Unsure about scoring (adding 10 to hands or multiplying by 10)? Or the rule restricting the last player's guess? No problem! Our game settings let you customize scoring and the last-player restriction.
Create a room, share the room code with your friends, and wait for them to join. You can review the settings while they connect. Start the game once everyone's in. Each round, players receive an increasing number of cards: 1 in round 1, 2 in round 2, and so on, up to 8 cards in round 8. The trump suit changes each round in a repeating cycle: Spades, Diamonds, Clubs, Hearts. Before each round, every player estimates the number of hands they'll win. The last player to guess cannot choose from the remaining cards; ensuring at least one player doesn't get their prediction exactly right. This rule is adjustable by the room administrator in the settings.
Gameplay involves each player playing one card at a time. The first player's card determines the suit others must follow. If a player lacks that suit, they can play a trump card to win the hand, or play any other card. Players who correctly predict the number of hands they win receive points (13 or 30, depending on the room's settings). The player with the most points after 8 rounds wins!
