Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Set for January 28th
Initially slated for a December 17th release, the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor will finally arrive on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on January 28th. This charming puzzler, developed by Balloon Studios and published by Whitethorn Games, was originally released in April 2024 for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, earning widespread praise.
The PlayStation port's delay, announced shortly before the initial December release date, was attributed to the developers' commitment to delivering the best possible player experience. Whitethorn Games confirmed the new January 28th launch date on January 9th. While a PlayStation Store page is yet to appear, pre-orders or wishlisting may become available soon.
Expect Botany Manor to be priced at $24.99, consistent with its other platform releases. The game offers a one-time purchase with no microtransactions. Unlike the Steam version, a separate digital soundtrack is not anticipated for the PlayStation release.
A Welcome Addition to PlayStation's Puzzle Lineup
Botany Manor garnered significant acclaim upon its initial launch, boasting a "Strong" rating on OpenCritic with an average score of 83 and a 92% recommendation rate. Its relaxing atmosphere, inventive puzzles, and engaging exploration captivated critics, establishing it as a standout puzzle game of 2024. Its PlayStation release promises to further enrich the platform's already impressive collection of puzzle titles.
With the PlayStation launch, Botany Manor will be available across all its intended platforms. Balloon Studios' next project remains unannounced. January 28th will also see the PlayStation Store releases of other notable games including Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Son of Madness.
