Albion Online has launched its first major update of 2025, dubbed the Rogue Frontier, embracing the theme of living on the edge. This update introduces a new faction, innovative trading methods, and an array of new weapons. Players now have the opportunity to join an underground network of outcasts who thrive by their own rules.

The Smugglers represent the ultimate rebels and misfits who have grown tired of the Royal Continent's stringent rules. They've established hidden hideouts known as Smuggler’s Dens, which serve as bases where players can store their loot and engage in various illicit activities. These dens are equipped with banks, repair stations, and travel planners to facilitate seamless movement across the game world.
The Smugglers are part of a broader Smuggler’s Network, a new trading system that revolutionizes how goods are moved within the Outlands. This system bypasses the Royal Continent's usual taxes and bureaucratic hassles, though it requires payments to the Smugglers themselves.
The Smugglers now form a full-fledged Faction, allowing players to undertake missions that prove their loyalty. These missions might involve tracking down stolen Smuggler Crates from ambushed wagons or rescuing captured Smugglers from the Royal Guards. Completing these tasks earns players Smuggler’s Coins, which can be used to advance within the faction's ranks.
Let’s Look Beyond the Smuggler Action
Beyond the Smuggler-centric additions, the Rogue Frontier Update introduces several long-awaited features to Albion Online. The new Bank Overview feature enables players to easily track their items across the game world, eliminating the frustration of forgetting where they stored their rare loot.
For PvP enthusiasts, Kill Trophies have been added to immortalize their most memorable battles. Additionally, the Albion Journal now includes a Creatures category, encouraging players to document the various beasts they encounter in the wild.
The update also introduces three new Crystal Weapons tailored for explorers, traders, and fighters. To experience these exciting new additions, players can download Albion Online from the Google Play Store.
