While *Avowed*'s Living Lands feel expansive, the main quest is surprisingly concise. If you're craving more after the credits roll, here's what awaits:
Does *Avowed* Have New Game Plus?
Many RPG fans relish replaying the main quest on higher difficulties with acquired skills and gear. Unfortunately, Avowed currently lacks New Game Plus. While not available at launch, Obsidian may add it via future updates or DLC, given player demand.
However, replayability still exists. Avowed's choices significantly impact story and gameplay, making a fresh save worthwhile to explore different endings and character builds.
Does *Avowed* Have Endgame Content?

Avowed features four main regions, a secret final area, and a return to a major city (details withheld to avoid spoilers). Legendary-quality weapons and gear become crucial here. However, this challenge doesn't extend to earlier regions, and no new areas unlock post-game. Your choices don't reshape the Living Lands after the credits roll.
What You Can Do After Beating *Avowed*
Without New Game Plus or substantial endgame content, post-game activities are limited. After the final encounter, several minutes of cutscenes depict the consequences of your decisions. Then, it's back to the main menu.
You can start a new game or reload a previous save. Autosaves exist before the point of no return and the final encounter, allowing replay of those sections with altered choices for different outcomes. Reloading to before the point of no return also lets you revisit earlier regions, mop up side quests, collect missed items, and enjoy the power of high-level gear against weaker enemies.
That's the post-game experience in Avowed.
Avowed is available now on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass.
