When you begin in *Build Defense*, you might think your goal is to protect your plot of land. However, the true objective is to survive—simply put, to avoid death. The game will challenge you with numerous dangers, and your task is to outlast them. Ideally, you should fortify your plot with a defensive structure, but if needed, you can also evade threats by running around the world until they pass. Each time you survive, you earn a "Win" and some in-game currency. Accumulating Wins is crucial for progressing in the game. So, keep an eye on screen messages and focus on staying alive.
…Dying is Completely Normal

Don't be discouraged if you die in *Build Defense*. It's a common occurrence, and the consequences are minimal. Upon death, you'll respawn immediately, lose your items, and fail the current wave, but these setbacks are manageable. You can repurchase your weapons and items, and your structures remain intact against monster attacks and disasters. New attack waves occur every two minutes, giving you plenty of opportunities to try again. Essentially, all you lose is a bit of time.
Build High, Not Low

Initially, you might consider building a wall around your plot to fend off monsters, but this isn't very effective, especially since you need an entrance. A better strategy is to construct a tall set of stairs leading to a high platform. When night falls, climb up and wait it out. Monsters will struggle to ascend the steep stairs, often falling back down. Those that reach the top can be dealt with using multiple turrets. This approach is highly effective for surviving most nights.
Don’t Just Build, Explore!

There's much more to *Build Defense* than just your plot. Explore the island to visit other players, sell your ores, and undertake quests. Some quests, like the Gingerbread's House quest, are available immediately, while others require a certain number of Wins. Completing these quests can unlock new building parts, enhancing your base-building options.
The “Shop” Isn’t Just for Premium Items
