A charming new game, Cato: Buttered Cat, is on its way to Android! The name itself is a clever combination of "cat" and "toast," perfectly reflecting the game's quirky premise. Ever wondered what happens when you attach buttered toast to a cat's back? The developers at Team Woll did, and the result is a delightful, physics-defying adventure.
Initially conceived for the 2022 BOOOM Gamejam, the positive response led to the development of a full game. Currently available on Steam for PC, Cato: Buttered Cat is slated for release on Android and other platforms soon. While the Google Play Store listing isn't yet live, you can pre-register via the official TapTap page.
Gameplay in Cato: Buttered Cat
This puzzle platformer lets you control both a cat and a slice of buttered toast. Their combined abilities are key to solving puzzles, overcoming enemies, and exploring whimsical worlds.
The game features:
