Castle Duels: Tower Defense 3.0 Global Launch: New Clans, Tournaments, and Unit Overhauls!
The highly anticipated update 3.0 for Castle Duels: Tower Defense has arrived, bringing the game to players worldwide after a successful soft launch in June 2024. This update introduces exciting new features, challenges, and adventures.
What's New in Castle Duels 3.0?
The biggest addition is the introduction of clans, allowing players to team up, trade units, share rewards, and access a dedicated clan store. Clan membership unlocks after reaching Arena 2.
Competitive players can hone their skills in training battles. For those who've reached Arena 5, the Clan Tournament offers intense PvP action where five-member clans compete to complete daily quests the fastest for top prizes.
Unit Overhauls and Name Changes
Several units have received significant updates:
- Raphael is now Angel, shifting from damage boosting to health restoration.
- Knight of Light is now Risen.
- Forestlord is now Woodbeard.
- Riding Hood is now a damage dealer with long-range attacks.
- Golem's ability range has been reduced to better suit its melee role.
- Fighter now plays a defensive role with a new opponent-repelling ability.
Visual updates have also been applied to Pirate, Alchemist, Poison Frog, Combat Engineer, and Vampire, enhancing their appearance at higher merge ranks.
