This six-issue series launches under DC’s ongoing All In initiative. The unlikely pairing of Cheetah and Cheshire ties back to Rucka’s iconic Wonder Woman runs and Scott’s work on Secret Six with Gail Simone, where Cheshire was a standout character.
Here’s DC’s official synopsis of the series:
Cheetah and Cheshire Rob the Justice League follows the titular villains as they orchestrate a high-stakes heist, targeting the DC Universe’s most secure facility. To pull it off, they assemble an elite crew to outwit the Justice League itself—while avoiding betrayal within their ranks. Their goal? Seizing one of the DCU’s most dangerous devices.
The only obstacles standing in the way of this audacious six-issue caper are a state-of-the-art orbital platform, its AI-powered security, and the DC Universe’s most formidable heroes.
“I’ll be upfront,” Rucka shared in a statement. “This is a team of villains, or at least those on the wrong side of the law. None of them have access to the Justice League Watchtower, and we’re not making it easy for them. For Cheetah, this heist is do-or-die—she’s determined to get what she wants, no matter who or what stands in her way.”
Cheetah and Cheshire Rob the Justice League #1 hits shelves on August 6, 2025.
In other comic news, Marvel’s Thunderbolts series is being rebranded as The New Avengers, aligning with the MCU.
