Chrono Trigger, the timeless JRPG, celebrates three decades since its original 1995 launch on the Super Famicom. Square Enix Japan announced the milestone on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, describing the game as a "masterpiece that transcends generations." This legendary title was the collaborative effort of three industry giants: Yuji Horii (Dragon Quest), Akira Toriyama (Dragon Ball), and Hironobu Sakaguchi (Final Fantasy).
Square Enix further stated, "To commemorate this 30th anniversary and show our gratitude to every Chrono Trigger player, we have planned a series of diverse projects throughout the coming year that will expand beyond the game's universe."
