Skeleton Army Evolution card introduced in partnership with the NHS
- Campaign fronted by actor William H. Macy
- Earn a complimentary badge by exploring organ donation details
The newest Evolution card in Clash Royale has literally risen from the grave, delivering a poignant real-world message alongside its gameplay mechanics. To celebrate the launch of the Skeleton Army Evolution, Supercell has partnered with ER veteran William H. Macy and NHS Blood and Transplant to encourage players to pledge their bones to the undead army. It is delightfully macabre yet surprisingly impactful.
In a witty short video, Macy rallies Clash Royale enthusiasts to register as donors, blending the game’s signature humor with the NHS’s crucial message about organ donation. Players can unlock a free badge by learning more about organ donation through the Clash Royale Store, launching just in time for Halloween—a perfect occasion to honor both bones and bravery.
This collaboration marks the first time NHS Blood and Transplant has partnered with a video game, coinciding with record-high numbers on the UK’s transplant waiting list. Over 8,000 individuals are currently awaiting an organ, including more than 1,000 patients under the age of 35. Campaign research reveals that half of young adults have not yet decided whether to become donors, with many admitting they simply haven’t considered it.

For those eager for gameplay action, the Skeleton Army Evolution Draft takes place from October 6th to 13th. This is followed by a Challenge running from October 10th to 13th, rewarding participants with a new Battle Banner and Emote. In this mode, General Gerry commands the troops; his Skeletons become invisible and indestructible while he stands nearby but crumble instantly upon his defeat.
