Paradox Interactive has unveiled an exciting roadmap for Crusader Kings III with the upcoming content set for 2025 under Chapter IV. This chapter focuses on expanding the game's scope into Asia, introducing new mechanics and regions for players to delve into.
The rollout begins with the recently launched cosmetic DLC, Crowns of the World. This elegant pack, though small, enriches the game with six unique crowns, four distinct hairstyles, and two stylish beards, enabling players to further customize their rulers' appearances.
Mark your calendars for April 28, as the first major DLC, Khans of the Steppe, will be released. This expansion lets you take the helm as the Great Khan, leading a nomadic horde to conquer and dominate neighboring lands with the might of the Mongols.
Following this, the Coronations DLC is scheduled for Q3 (July–September). This addition introduces a ceremonial mechanic where players can solidify their reign through majestic coronation events. These ceremonies include lavish festivities, solemn vows, and critical decisions about the future of your kingdom. Enhanced political interactions will also be available through new advisor and vassal events, adding layers to royal succession.
