Dead Cells final two updates are now live on iOS and Android, with fresh content to wrap it up

Dead Cells' final updates, "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near," have arrived, bringing a massive amount of new content to this long-running roguelike. For years, Dead Cells has been consistently updated with new weapons, gear, and enemies, and these final updates are no exception.

"Clean Cut" and "The End is Near" introduce four new weapons, including exciting additions like the giant Sewing Scissors and the Misericorde. New game modes like Speedrun and Boss Rush DIY are also included, adding significant replayability. Players can also look forward to 40 new heads, multiple new enemy types, and a helpful NPC who allows for on-the-fly head customization. While future updates will focus on quality-of-life improvements, this final content drop ensures players will have plenty to explore for quite some time.

It's ironic that Dead Cells faced criticism when free updates ended, considering the game received five years of continuous free content and paid expansions. The developers' commitment to long-term bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements will undoubtedly keep the game engaging for years to come.
