Even though Valve has shifted away from a fixed update schedule, they keep surprising us with steady enhancements to Deadlock. The most recent patch, while not a complete overhaul, is certainly more than just a minor adjustment. You can find a detailed list of all the changes on the game's forum page.

On January 18, Deadlock rolled out four new heroes to the game, and shortly after, the developers made some significant balance tweaks. For instance, Holliday's ability, Crackshot, now activates on units as well, using half its cooldown in these scenarios. Meanwhile, Calico's ability, Ava, has been updated to destroy objects she encounters while moving.
The update also touched on older heroes, with adjustments like Kelvin's health being bumped up from 600 to 650, and Vendicta experiencing a reduction in bullet speed from 810 to 740, along with a drop in movement speed from nine to eight. In total, the patch brought targeted changes to 11 heroes, including the freshly introduced ones.
Deadlock continues to be in closed beta, maintaining an active player base with numbers fluctuating between 7,000 and 20,000 online players.
