In Ubisoft's *Assassin’s Creed Shadows*, players encounter a variety of animals including dogs, foxes, and deer, but it's the cats that steal the show for many. If you're on a quest to find the cat island in *Assassin’s Creed Shadows*, here's your guide to feline paradise.
How to Find the Cat Island in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
To embark on this adventure, you'll need to journey to the Omi region, which you'll reach around the midpoint of the game's story. Ensure your characters are well-equipped and ready for the journey. Head northeast within Omi to reach your destination.
Your target is Lake Biwa, a large body of water central to the region. To cross it, consider commandeering a boat from settlements like Azuchi or Omizo. If you're feeling adventurous, you can also swim to your destination.

Navigate to the larger island in the middle of Lake Biwa, just northwest of Azuchi. This island, known as Okishima, features a Kakurega where you can rest. Look out for the fish drying near the docks, a sure sign of the cats' presence.
To immerse yourself in the cat-filled environment of Okishima, head north towards the Leap of Faith. As you ascend, you'll encounter more and more cats. Don't forget to pet them to add them to your collection for use in your Hideout, especially the rare kittens which are harder to find elsewhere.

While the Leap of Faith typically reveals new locations on your map, the true treasure of Okishima is the feline companions you'll find. After exploring and taking the leap into the haystack, there's not much left to do but enjoy the company of the cats. You'll revisit Okishima later in Yasuke's storyline, adding another layer of excitement to your journey.
