- Konami and FIFA's partnership for the FIFAe World Cup 2024 has officially come to fruition - Viewers can watch elite competitors battle across console and mobile divisions - The ultimate reward? A $20,000 top prize from a massive $100,000 total prize pool!

As we previously announced, Konami's eFootball and FIFA have joined forces to host this year's FIFAe World Cup in Saudi Arabia! The cross-platform tournament, featuring both console and critically important mobile competitions, begins December 9th. The eFootball x FIFAe World Cup will welcome live spectators while being broadcast globally.

FIFAe World Cup qualifiers launched in October, culminating in our final roster - featuring over 54 console players from 22 nations competing in intense 2v2 matches. The mobile division showcases a more exclusive lineup, with 16 players representing 16 countries in head-to-head 1v1 showdowns.

The victors' spoils? A coveted $20,000 grand prize from the $100,000 total purse! Even non-participants can benefit - viewers watching December 9th-12th streams can earn daily bonuses totaling 4,000 eFootball points and 400,000GP.

ytMatch of the day This collaboration marks another major achievement for Konami. Following high-profile football partnerships (including Lionel Messi) and pop-culture crossovers like Captain Tsubasa manga collaborations, this tournament represents another prestigious milestone.

While hardcore competitive players will undoubtedly engage, the broader appeal to casual mobile gamers remains to be seen. The tournament's long-term impact on the general player base may differ from its immediate competitive significance.
