Machine Yearning: A Brain-Teasing Robot Job Simulator Launching September 12th!
This isn't your average human job. Tiny Little Keys' debut game, Machine Yearning, challenges you to perform tasks typically reserved for robots, testing your skills against a sophisticated CAPTCHA system. Created by Daniel Ellis, a former Google Machine Learning Engineer, this unique game launches September 12th.
What is Machine Yearning?
In Machine Yearning, you'll apply for a robot job, proving your worth by outsmarting a CAPTCHA designed to identify humans. The game will put your memory and processing speed to the test, demanding at least 2005-era capabilities.
Gameplay begins by associating words with shapes, progressively increasing in difficulty by adding more words and colors, requiring you to remember previous associations. Master the challenge, and you'll unlock a variety of hats to customize your robotic workforce – from archer hats to cowboy hats and even straw hats!
Will You Play?
Originally showcased at Ludum Dare, a prominent indie game jam, Machine Yearning won awards for "most fun title" and "most innovative title." Learn more on their official website.
Available September 12th on Android, Machine Yearning is free-to-play. While it might not actually transform your brain into a supercomputer (we're kidding!), it's sure to provide a challenging and entertaining experience.
