Forget map changes—*Fortnite* Chapter 6, Season 2: Lawless introduces *Moments*, a fun new feature that lets you personalize your Battle Royale experience with your own soundtrack. This addition, often overlooked amidst new Quests and Item Shop items, lets you set custom music for both your match intro (after jumping from the Battle Bus) and your Victory Royale celebration.
What Are Fortnite Moments?
Moments add a personalized audio layer to your matches. Instead of the standard in-game sounds, you can choose from your library of Jam Tracks to play as background music, enhancing the thrill of the drop and the sweet victory of a win.
How To Use Fortnite Moments

To customize your audio experience, navigate to the Locker tab in the main menu and scroll down to the Moments section. You'll find options for both Intro Music (playing after you jump) and Celebration Music (playing after a Victory Royale). Simply select your desired Jam Tracks from your library.
Your full library of Jam Tracks will appear after selecting a Moment. Choose the perfect song for your pre-battle hype and your post-victory celebration.
How To Get Fortnite Moments
Want more music options? Head to the Item Shop's "Take Your Stage" section. There are hundreds of Jam Tracks to choose from, featuring music from artists like Metallica, Bad Bunny, Lil Nas X, and Kendrick Lamar. Each song costs 500 V-Bucks (approximately $4.50). Alternatively, consider the Music Pass for a bundle of Jam Tracks, instruments, and accessories—the current Icon is Hatsune Miku, but the pass features various artists, including Jennifer Lopez and CAKE.
Of course, you can always listen to the in-game radio, but where’s the fun in that? Personalize your experience with your own tunes!
That’s how to get and use *Fortnite* Moments. For more *Fortnite* news, check out all the rumored collaborations for the Lawless season. *Fortnite* is available on various platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
