Fortnite Hunters has launched Chapter 6 with an explosive start, introducing a sprawling map to explore, the debut of powerful Oni Masks and Typhoon Blades, and exciting bosses to challenge. As the season unfolds, more content is being revealed, enriching the game with unique items and new features.
With Winterfest now behind us, Fortnite Hunters has rolled out its first major update, reintroducing some beloved items from Chapter 4. While the Kinetic Blade may catch the eye of some, the Lock On Pistol is generating buzz among players eager to improve their aim.
How To Get The Lock On Pistol

The Lock On Pistol, classified as a Rare weapon, can be found as floor loot or inside chests scattered across the map. Although it's a Rare item, players might need to open several chests to increase their chances of finding it.
Alternatively, players can try their luck at Fishing Spots using a Fishing Rod. These spots offer a higher chance of yielding Rare weapons, making it a viable strategy to snag the Lock On Pistol.
How To Use The Lock On Pistol

The Lock On Pistol operates much like other semi-automatic pistols in Fortnite, delivering 25 damage per shot. Its unique selling point is the Lock-On feature. When aiming down sights, a circle appears around the reticle. If a target remains within this circle, every bullet fired will hit the target, as long as they're not behind cover.
This feature is effective against players gliding in the air or hiding in bushes. However, the Lock-On capability is limited to a 50-meter range, so players need to stay close to their targets. For those who prefer a more aggressive approach, the pistol can be fired from the hip, though this method won't utilize the Lock-On feature.
Here's a quick overview of the Lock On Pistol's stats:
| Damage | Fire Rate | Magazine Size | Reload Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| 25 | 15 | 12 | 1.76s |
