Freedom Wars Remastered offers numerous ways to customize your loadout. While weapons and Thrones are less frequently swapped, Combat Items—consumable resources with diverse uses—are often limited. You'll occasionally receive them as operation rewards, but this isn't always sufficient. Initially, you can only equip one Combat Item at a time. Let's address both these issues.
How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
To equip multiple Combat Items, you need the correct Entitlements. In your cell, interact with the Window On Liberty, select "Claim Entitlements," then navigate to the Equipment section. Tab to the right to find the One-Item Permit. Subsequent permits allow equipping up to four Combat Items.
These permits become available as you progress the story, all obtainable by CODE level 3. Permits unlock sequentially; you'll only see the next one after purchasing the previous. Equipping a Combat Item uses your entire stack, so equipping a Frag Grenade, for instance, consumes all currently held grenades at the mission start.
Your Accessory can also equip a single Combat Item, used at its discretion.
Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
After progressing through the early missions, you'll access The Warren HUB area. Zakka's store, located on the upper level's right side, sells weapons and supplies. Select "Buy Items" to access Munitions (items that directly damage enemies) and Medical Supplies (healing, ailment cures, and ammo refills).
Combat Items are purchased individually, and bulk purchases can be costly in Entitlement Points. Donating excess resources might be necessary if you require many Medkits. While Operations sometimes reward Combat Items, this isn't a reliable farming method due to the time investment and potential consumption exceeding rewards.
