Exercise Surging Storm: Gameplay Guide
The event starts with helpful tutorials. Here's the gist:
Before each wargame, select Combat Units (your troops) and Stratagems (buffs/power-ups). Units have various types (AoE Damage, Flying, Ranged, Melee), each with strengths and weaknesses (e.g., Melee counters Ranged).
Analyze your opponent's lineup and adjust yours using the bottom-right effectiveness diagram. Remember, changing your lineup consumes Reinforcement Points – use them strategically!
Unit types explained:
- Melee: High damage absorption, slow speed.
- Ranged: Long-range attacks, low health.
- AoE DMG: Damages groups of units.
- Flying: Evades ground attacks, immune to specific damage types.
Upgrade units for increased effectiveness by re-selecting them in subsequent rounds. Refresh Combat Units and Stratagems for better options. Elemental Reactions function as they do in the overworld – use them to your advantage!
