GTA V PC Release Set for March 4

Author : Gabriella Apr 08,2025

After over two years of anticipation, PC players of *Grand Theft Auto V* are in for a treat with a major update scheduled for March 4. This update will align the PC version closely with the enhanced features found in the PS5 and Xbox Series versions released back in 2022. The best part? It's completely free for all current players, and your progress in both GTA Online and the Story Mode will seamlessly transfer without any additional steps required.

The lion's share of this upgrade is dedicated to *GTA Online*, bringing a wealth of content that was previously exclusive to console players. Moreover, the GTA+ subscription service is now making its way to PC, offering subscribers a range of benefits, including the ability to collect profits from in-game businesses at an accelerated rate. Rockstar Games has also stepped up its game by enhancing anti-cheat measures to ensure a fairer playing field.

Alongside these exciting additions, the update will introduce significant graphical enhancements. However, this comes with a caveat: the system requirements will also see an increase. Players with hardware that can't meet these new demands will have the option to continue playing the older version, which will still receive support from the developers. It's important to note, though, that there won't be any cross-version support, meaning players on different versions won't be able to play together. Keep this in mind as you plan your gaming sessions.
