Bethesda has announced that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will receive Update 3 next week.
While the complete patch notes are still to come, Bethesda shared initial information about Update 3 in a tweet. This update will include various fixes and improvements, along with support for NVIDIA DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation and DLSS Ray Reconstruction.
Players are optimistic that Update 3 will resolve several game-breaking bugs that have affected Indiana Jones and the Great Circle since its early December launch. Last month, Bethesda mentioned that the February update would introduce new graphics features and settings, and address issues that have kept some players from achieving 100% completion or navigating vines and tight spaces in the Sukhothai area. It remains uncertain whether all these adjustments will be included in next week's patch.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle launched on PC and Xbox Series X|S and, as a Microsoft-owned title, was available on Game Pass from day one. The game has already attracted 4 million players. MachineGames' latest release earned critical praise and several accolades, including three D.I.C.E. Awards. A PlayStation 5 version is scheduled for release this spring.
Harrison Ford, the actor behind Indiana Jones, noted that Troy Baker's portrayal of the iconic character in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle demonstrates that "you don't need artificial intelligence to steal my soul."
Ford spoke with The Wall Street Journal about passing the torch for the role, expressing his satisfaction with the performance delivered by Baker, known for his work in The Last of Us.
"You don’t need artificial intelligence to steal my soul," Ford said. "Good ideas and talent can already achieve that at a minimal cost. He delivered a brilliant performance, and it didn’t require the use of AI."
