Pokémon GO keeps its community buzzing with a variety of events throughout the month, designed to engage players and offer them the chance to earn more rewards and encounter new Pokémon. These events not only help players level up but also increase the CP (Combat Power) of their Pokémon. During special occasions like Community Days, players can unlock exclusive moves for their Pokémon, adding a unique twist to their gameplay.

All January Raids, Community Days, and Events

During these events, players can earn additional berries, items, and even encounter special Pokémon. To maximize your event experience, make sure you have enough berries and Poké Balls on hand. Here's everything you need to know about January's events:

Pokémon GO Spotlight Hours

  • January 7: Voltorb & Hisuian Voltorb – 2x Catch Stardust
  • January 14: Roselia – 2x Catch XP
  • January 21: Paldean Wooper – 2x Catch Candy
  • January 28: Yungoos – 2x Transfer Candy

These Spotlight Hours occur every Tuesday from 6 pm to 7 pm local time and last for just one hour. Participating in these weekly events is key for collecting Shiny Pokémon or powering up your team.

Pokémon GO Raid Hours

  • January 1: Giratina Altered Forme
  • January 8: Palkia
  • January 15: Palkia
  • January 22: Deoxys Attack Forme & Deoxys Defense Forme
