Chasing Kaleidorider is set in a futuristic city called Terminus, which exists in both the regular world and an alternate mental space known as the Sea of Unconsciousness. When these two realms merge, an event called Integration occurs, unleashing chaos through a disruptive force known as Hysteria.
The protagonists of the game are the mysterious Kaleidoriders, a group of girls who combat this madness. They are depicted as armed, fast, and stylish, zipping through the city on high-speed motorbikes. The trailer introduces several Rider girls including Prome, Nana, UC, and Adodol, who have diverse backgrounds ranging from students and magicians to rockstars. These characters lead dual lives, blending into society while secretly battling reality-warping threats.
In the game, you assume the role of the Navigator, who acquires a unique ability called Kaleido Vision following an accident. This power allows you to perceive the anomalies that others cannot, making you crucial in assisting the Kaleidoriders to combat Hysteria and unravel the mysteries of Terminus.
