Despite launching in much better condition than its predecessor, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II still faces technical challenges common to large-scale RPGs with ambitious designs. Warhorse Studios remains committed to enhancing the player experience through post-launch improvements, with their upcoming patch poised to be a significant update.
In a recent interview with Tech4gamers, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, the global PR manager, revealed that the next patch, developed over five months, will tackle over 1,000 bugs:
"This patch has been in development for over five months and includes well over a thousand fixes."
Gamers are naturally curious about whether this patch will introduce more than just bug fixes, such as new gameplay mechanics or quality-of-life improvements. Given the extensive preparation time, there's anticipation for substantial enhancements, though details will only be clear once the complete patch notes are released.

Additionally, Warhorse Studios has confirmed that Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will receive official mod support within the next two weeks. However, the initial release of modding tools will have limitations; for example, players won't be able to create custom missions right away. The studio plans to expand modding capabilities in future updates. As of now, no exact release date for the patch has been announced.
