Exciting news for Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) fans: a familiar villain from the very first MCU film, *Iron Man*, is set to make a comeback in the upcoming series *Vision Quest*. Faran Tahir, who portrayed Raza Hamidmi al-Wazar, the leader of the Afghanistan terrorist group that held Tony Stark captive, will reprise his role after nearly two decades. This character, pivotal in the opening scenes of *Iron Man*, was last seen being betrayed by Jeff Bridges' Obadiah Stane.
Raza Hamidmi al-Wazar's return echoes the MCU's trend of revisiting characters from its early phases, much like Samuel Sterns from *The Incredible Hulk* reappearing in *Captain America: Brave New World*. *Vision Quest*, starring Paul Bettany as White Vision post-*WandaVision*, has yet to announce a release date.

Much like *Deadpool & Wolverine* delved into the more obscure parts of the Fox Marvel universe, *Vision Quest* might be exploring forgotten elements of the MCU's early days. Adding to the anticipation, James Spader, who played Ultron in *Avengers: Age of Ultron*, is also rumored to return, though details about the series remain sparse.
